Fourth Annual Santa’s 4-County Sleigh Run

A Convoy of Christmas Cheer, the Fourth Annual Santa’s 4-County Sleigh Run

Children selecting toys during the Fourth Annual Santa's 4-County Sleigh RunMembers of United for a Good Cause embarked upon an inter-county Christmas sleigh run convoy on Christmas Eve. We traveled back and forth through multiple cities of Northwest Florida and the Emerald Coast, delivering toys to less fortunate families who weren’t able to attend the 12th Annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Children’s Fiesta. Families with their children in cities such as Fort Walton Beach and Defuniak Springs showed up at each designated point. They selected toys and gifts from the massive inventory that was raised for this occasion. It was quite marvelous once again, seeing selfless people come together to spread Christmas cheer to the less fortunate. Many of the participants were those who volunteered at the Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Children’s Fiesta, still with an indivisible amount of warm heartedness that begs to spread joy. Featured in this post are some of the photos taken during the trek. Many thanks to Sabor A Mexico of Fort Walton Beach and Helen Back Again of Crestview, La Chalupita of Santa Rosa Beach, Love’s Travel Stop of Defuniak Springs and La Rumba’s of Defuniak Springs who served as designated pickup points for the sleigh run. Thank you to David Triana and his son, Michelle Castro, Ray Castro, Mr. and Mrs. Castro’s daughter and son, Neil Tabot, Patrick Rosser, and everyone else involved!
